Panduit Partner Summit
Culture, collaboration and conversation in Rome
Better networking
Based on delegate feedback from last year we introduced a greater focus on networking and collaboration, with plenty of breakout sessions and opportunities for informal collaboration; a ‘Partner Village’ expo area where we gamified delegates’ engagement with sponsors enabling them to build their own memento of Rome and win prizes.
Following last year’s success, we increased the ‘spouse package’ by 100% this year. Delegates’ wives & husbands were invited along to experience a whistle-stop cultural tour of Rome while their partners were in conference, and as both parties came together in the evening, the added social element fuelled far more diverse interaction.
Wow factor
Surrounded by history, culture and beautiful architecture, the event included an almost unheard-of corporate tour of the Vatican Library, and at the culmination of the conference, the gala dinner, serenaded by opera singers, on an opulent terrace, in view of a brilliantly-lit St Peter’s Basilica, the moment was enough to move several delegates to tears. We kid you not.
There are cultural and logistical challenges to orchestrating a large, complex conference in Rome, which we overcame through a combination of experience and careful supplier selection. But the city is an excellent venue for an event of this type, at event where the wow factor is required.
Happy delegates
We weren’t sure if we could beat our 99% delegate satisfaction score from last year. However, this year’s Italian spectacular achieved 100% positive feedback. But don’t take our word for it:
Amanda MacDonald, Head of Marketing, EMEA, PANDUIT Europe Ltd says: “Each year this event receives outstanding reviews and just gets better and better. This is mainly down to the professional team at Bray Leino. I’m always sad when the event finishes as it is a joy working with them. They make you feel part of the team and ensure we feel relaxed that everything will go great on the night!”
